The SNPEFP-CGT covers three branches of teaching in the private sector — non-profit schools (EPNL), for profit schools (EPI) and professional training (OF) — with the goal of providing information, advice, training and legal counsel to its members.

Many educational institutions in this sector employ English speaking professionals; consequently, the SNPEFP-CGT created an « English speakers » email address through which members can ask questions in English for themselves or on behalf of colleagues. The address is anglophones@efp-cgt.org.

Of course the goal is to link new members with a union committee (section syndicale) in your workplace, or, in the case where one does not exist, with a local union office.

Becoming a union member is completely confidential; no information is divulged to your employer.
